ONE DAY CAN GO A LONG WAY
I know that you may not be located in the South of France but I would like to share with you some photos from the 1 Day Retreat recently organised by myself and Noona Ayres of Revitalize.
The biggest lesson I took home after the day was that A LOT can be achieved in just one day. If you feel that you can’t afford to take time out for yourself, think again.
That 1 day might just give you the rebalancing you need to boost your energy. It might give you the space you need to work through an issue, it might provide the time you need to do a little exercise or eat some nourishing food. No matter your why, the result could blow you away.
People who attended used words like AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, INSTRUCTIVE, UPLIFTING, AND PEACEFUL when writing back to thank us.
A LITTLE CAN GO FAR
You might think you don’t have time to take a day for yourself but I’m suggesting, you make time because just one day spent on restoring yourself will give you days and days of feeling more energised, peaceful, uplifted and balanced.
And that my dear friends is where I shall leave you……
Here’s how the day looked
Participants were gently eased into the yoga session
We had infusions with ginger, lemon and mint, as well as aloe vera gel shots and green juice throughout the day.
I spoke about easy ways to keep nourished and then we all made our plates beautiful by each plating our own food. I kept the menu simple, clean, natural and fresh with new flavours and recipes to try.
Here are some examples of how participants plated their food.
Eating healthily doesn’t mean you have to spend hours cooking. By building your own Buddha Bowl you can see how easy it can be.
Sharing a meal can raise oxytocin levels and what better place to do this than in the garden under the sunshade.

We ended the day with some chanting. I absolutely recommend you try this sometime. We also did a fantastic journaling exercise which is super helpful if you are trying to find answers. Noona is a wonderful yoga teacher and I felt lucky to join in for some of her instruction.
