I’m Kate and I help people tune into their bodies and find what works for them!
I’m committed to encouraging people to look and feel their best by cooking and eating healthier food.
I’ve been working hard to bring to you my knowledge and I’ve dedicated years to helping people bring the best out of themselves. I have travelled, studied, set up amazing projects, worked hard to help existing projects succeed, researched, learnt about myself and experimented. The whole time questioning why we sabotage ourselves and our health even when we know how damaging it is to us.
I benefitted so much from making a simple change, and now I want to help others do the same.
Here’s how it came to be:
I never thought I could cook simple healthy foods. I thought that being healthy meant eating nothing but salads. I was married to an amazingly good cook so I never really planned my meals. I would eat things that didn’t work for me and end up feeling tired and uncomfortable. When I wanted to “get healthier” I would go on the latest fad only to be disappointed down the line because I couldn’t keep it up. I would spiral back into eating rich, unhealthy foods and so the cycle would go.
When my “amazingly good cook” and I parted ways and I had zero motivation for trying another Fad Diet, I was stuck.
How do I cook for myself and keep healthy?
Back then I could manage the basics, like grilling a burger or microwaving a potato. Thank goodness for my dearest aunt Jo. She nurtured and nourished me through my time of sadness and it is because of her that I went on to cook healthy food for a living.
Jo showed me how to lose my fear and just get comfortable with making nutritious but totally delicious food and it was EASY! Once I’d overcome the intimidation of cooking, I actually started enjoying it. Then slowly I got the courage to cook for friends and family. This gave me loads of pleasure because I got to share my food with others and because I was eating a well balanced diet, I felt amazing pretty much all of the time.
I have never looked back. I found myself a job on a beautiful big sailing boat and eventually my new found passion was able to flourish when I got the opportunity to cook for the crew. I felt so happy to be knowing that I was giving these hard working sailors a nutritious dish.
My passion just grew and grew and I began to cook for the guests. People would see me cook and see how relaxed I was and ask, how do you cook such delicious food but make it look like a breeze? This made me want to get a nutritional background so that I could go out and help others to cook and eat a healthier diet.
I did it and now I am so happy and grateful for where I am. I know how to make myself feel great and how easy it has become to maintain my weight, so long as I stick to a few simple rules.
I want to share this knowledge with you.
I want to show you how to sustain a positive change.
I want to cut the confusion and present it all in a clear cut simple manner.
I managed to move on from fad diets, sadness, comfort eating but it wasn’t done alone.
Thankfully I had support. Without it, I would not have been able to turn my life around. Having a helping hand or someone to keep you accountable is key. That is why I am here for you. I would like to offer you my support.

Motivation is the starting point of making a change
I remember that very day when something clicked into place for me and I suddenly realised: ‘Oh My Gosh! I am in control, all I need to do is get myself out of this situation’.
I am free to make the change…
I knew without a doubt that I could turn my life around. The details were a little fuzzy, but I had the desire.
… years of hard work and reflection… and voila…. Now here I am living a completely satisfying and inspiring life.
Keeping on track takes discipline but if you fall by the wayside just go back to your list of good habits.
- Drink plenty water and add a squeeze of lemon to at one glass
- Cook regularly with local, organic produce
- Eat a clean balanced diet with more nuts, seeds, vegetables and grains than meat
- Get a dose of sunshine each day
- Do physical activities that I enjoy
- Know what I am working for and check my intentions regularly
- Share my meals
- Enjoy a cheeky glass with friends
- Soak up the elements and be grateful

I genuinely get excited when I see and feel people who want to make a positive change. We all have potential. I can see it – even when you can’t see it for yourself.
